Middle of the road guy who is in a big conference who has done well but didn't win against the big boys. Does a solid job for the talent he has.
Like jimmy did.

But also needs to have some experience and success as a coordinator on the big stage.

Developing NFL talent as HC or coordinator is a must, IMO.

We'll call him Mr X, for now. Hopefully, we can get a name by the time it's his turn to be interviewed, sometime in 2017.

Richt might be the guy. Only I thought he had superior talent. Was he getting 2nd level guys? If so he might be your man.

We are in the era of the transexual. We need one of those before they're all taken.

Disregard that, my bad, it's just the waiting taking its toll.

How about that Mark Dantonio! I don't think he needed an OC with a clipboard to figure out that his OL could just pound the rock and as long as he could keep on making first downs OSU's offense was on the sideline and when they did get on the field no clipboard needed, his badass D could keep them off the scoreboard.

Richt?

Big improvement over Golden but I'm not confident he'd have Miami playing in January. He might run train on the coastal, but he also might use his coRching abilities to lose to 1-2 inferior teams sporadically.

Kyle Whittingham...the guy's only won His conference once...twice if you count Him being the interim for Meyer, and even then I think Meyer coached that 2005 Fiesta Bowl.

Hiring Whittingham, would be like hiring Erickson, a career Mountain West,Big Sky, Pac-10 guy.

To me this screams Mullen, Gundy, Leach, Rich Rod, and Richt. I would be fine with any of them as well, except for Rich Rod.

Chris Petersen from Washington or Dana Holgerson from WVU fit the mold. Both have won New years six bowls and are middle level programs that won't beats their conference's big boys. I hope they are both on the list of 40, as well as Les Miles.
