4 months after the 2013 recruiting meltdown that happened on Feb 6th.. Golden has been on a mission first filling the rest of the 13' class with Elder,Griffin, Kamalu (if he gets in) walk ons such as the caucasion DB punter O'donnell etc...

The train just kept on moving. From observation many fellow posters are right Golden is pulling a mack brown and filling up the class early. In my opinion Al is pulling the Mack Brown buuuuuuut he isnt looking at recruiting sites he's like all say searching and finding the unknowns like Butch Davis. I believe Al is going to continue to recruit the top ranked state of Florida kids but dont lose any sleep if he doesnt get them. I believe Langham is a replacement for Lane, The kid from Dillard is a replacement for Lammons, Courtel Jenkins is for Khairi Clark, Owens for Yeargin III etc...

I believe these kids are equally talented and will become even better because they havent had the same limelight as other kids which in turn makes them hungrier to prove themselves...

All in all i believe Golden is trying to Fill this class up before the season starts so he can strictly focus on our team this season because this is his biggest season thus far and with all of the talent we have we should win 10+ games this season could even go undefeated if eveeryone gels and improves vastly. This is strictly my opinion but i would love to hear everyone else's thought.

The staff is relentless. Hard work will pay off in the end somehow, even if the initial results aren't what you hope for. Still don't understand melting down on signing day though, it was a **** of a class other than the huge DT miss.

Golden is trying to change the culture and expectations of SoFL recruiting. In Texas kids don't play games with UT. They jump on board or lose their chance to play for their home town. Golden is trying to recreate that here. Now in order to do it. He's gotta turn some of these 2* and 3* into gems so when he says he'll take someone else that 5* kid has to believe we truly don't need him.
 
i get your point on his relentlessness but a signing day where you get stacy coley, jermanie grace, and gus edwards (#1 wideout in country) is far from a meltdown.

The meltdown i was talking about well you should already know with Ice and his 2man crew along with the RB from Plantation... We all went crazy when we found out we werent getting them and if you didnt feel any type of way when that happened then you're lying to yourself. Nobody knew the deal with stacy it was a toss up until the swag hat cameout the other guys were ahead of grace and edwards although i will say grace was ahead of the guard

I totally agree my friend this year wouldve been the year for alot of those two/three stars to show their *** off(e johnson,g.paul,briscoe,ivery) and i cant wait to see the improvements of the 2011/2012 classes. I already know pierre is going to be a beast. Can't wait to see the evolution of Chick,Crawford,Gunter etc of 2011 and R.Jenkins, T.Howard, A.Crawford, M.Lewis etc... One person im waiting to see how he evolves is Jawand Blue Vtech was super upset missing out on him im curious to see the player he becomes cause thats a big boy
 
we all forget how young this team was because they are so talented. wait till bush, jenkins, tracy,duke, waters, etc have had a couple off season in weight room. they will be nasty.

I never called this Class a meltdown i said "THE 2013 RECRUITING MELTDOWN" as in the BTW and Ice incident along with the Plantation RB who went on TV in Atlanta to choose his school bull$h!t
 
I think we are closer to being elite than a lot of people think. In the days of 85 scholarships and extreme turnover, its easy to turn over a roster for better or worse very quickly. Its obvious where we need the help and depth so no reason to beat a dead horse.
