The Gates will be ready to play ...

its kinda odd- many of talking heads are picking UF but their breakdowns all say the same thing:

Miami has one of the top QBs in the country, top RB, one of best OLs and DLs in the ACC, and a 1000 yard receiver. On paper Miami is a better team and has the edge in almost every matchup. DB might be a weak spot against UFs fast receivers but Mertz isn’t known for the deep ball.

Only way I can explain them picking UF with so many factors favoring UM is that they think Napier is a better coach than Cristobal. I hope that is getting under Cristobal’s skin.

The only explanations I’ve seen are (1) because it’s the SwAmP and (2) week 1 rivalry game.

I’ve yet to hear an explanation on where they matchup better than us and how they beat us.
 
Obviously they have some talent and rivalry games are rarely a cake walk. We are superior in most areas though so if we gameplan appropriately we should win.

I mean those inbreds couldn’t even do a white out game right. Can’t lose to that kind of stupid
 
I really hope our staff and players don't share some of the sentiments expressed by some of you scaredy cats.

Where are your balls? Bunch of wusses, worrying, nervous, and on edge over the gator.

We're the mother****ing ******* ones who call the shots. We win, and win big.

Now go hit a heavy bag, do some squats, **** your wives / girlfriends, and get your collective minds right.

I have seen a few say that Mertz will protect the ball but they expect Cam to turn it over a couple of times.

It’s going to be a good game man, watching Mertz he’s actually not that bad of a qb so as we think, they going to make some plays. He just doesn’t throw it downfield but I think they will take a shot.
