The Future

Why is it always an either or? The coaches are not putting these guys in a position to succeed, and it took way too long to pivot on offense. The players **** up plenty on their own too. And there have been a crazy number of injuries. It’s an absolute dumpster fire across the board.

The guys who are saying Mario didn’t make Knighton or Smith fumble are right, but so are the guys saying the offensive play calling has been terrible and Steele has his moments too.

That’s funny it seems we always get the overrated four and five stars! Four or five different coaches and the same results lolol
You need to say this louder for the people in the back. Please say it louder!!

Different coaches, year after year has been recruiting overrated players from all over the country.

Mario isn't turning **** around, many of us told you he was a .500 basic as fck coach. The scary thing is his Oregon teams had zero competition in the pac.

It's just as bad as it can get really. You got far worse players at Duke and MTSU looking like they're in a different league. That's coaching

Also ***** him for constantly saying we don't have the talent on this team. If I was a player I'd be ****ed my own head coach keeps saying that ****.
They shouldn't be ****ed he is saying it. They should show up

He isn't throwing interceptions and missing tackles. Yall gotta stop being scared to blame these dudes. They all stole NIL money I know that's for sure.

When you get blown out at home by MTSU and Duke at home that whole we don’t have the players thing is dead
it's not. at all. player development has been a very obvious problem here. we have a bunch of upperclassmen who came through with a bunch of 4-star ratings and so many of them are just awful. at this point it's irrelevant how highly-touted they were. they're flat-out bad players. we've been missing on evals and player development for years, and that matters, and it's not gonna get fixed until these guys are gone.

Can blame all you want but I'm not playing hard for a man saying that ish all the **** time. Say it once maybe, but keep that **** to your **** self.

It's really starting to look like a lot of his success at Oregon was because USC was down.

If in 2022 you are scoring in the low 20s, you are F*. We can only hope that Mario has been embarrassed enough to learn his lesson and not feel like “more talent” will get it done.

Hoyacane never met a coach he didn’t like.

Players are worse than Middle Tennessee and Duke? Dumbass
not at all. But some of you put all the blame on the coaches. That's ridiculous. These guys have to WANT to win. Enough of them don't have it inside when the going gets tough. They aren't motivated enough internally. No amount of "coaching" or punishment or whatever you want to call for is going to change that.

Maybe, just maybe, those guys on MTSU and Duke want it more...... SMH

add to that bad attitudes, no internal motivation and flat out quitters mentality

The Future? Here's my thing: Coaches use to get 4-5 years to turn a program around. That rarely happens any more. With the portal, it CAN HAPPEN so much quicker. Tennessee for instance. But Mario has been given an extremely long leash. This alone isn't necessarily a bad thing, but here's the thing: Top Croots wanna play for a winner, but now it's deeper than that. With all the jockeying for position with conference realignment, where exactly do we land? Are we even attractive to the SEC, BIG, or wherever? That said, if we're not in a top notch conference, we won't land top notch talent no matter how good of a crooter Mario may be. Mario, via his track record, has his most success by being able to attract some pretty dang good talent. If we don't land in a big boy football conference, Mario may not be the guy. If we do, and he's able to stack talent and hire the right staff to coach it, and he's given that long leash, we may be a decent program in the long run. IDK. I think a lot of the CIS sentiment with Lane vs. Mario, was Lane would be a quick fix, but Mario would be better long term. 🤔 That's kinda where we're at except I think most did expect us to win games like MTSU, Duke, . . .
