Just like everyone in jail is innocent. They kinda are. Depends on what the topic is.
I understand the analogy but its not the same. There are people who can spam every single thread with "we got to fire Manny" posts and nothing happens to them. But too many posts suggesting that Manny didn't do a bad job or threads talking about keeping him and boom the warnings start getting passed out because obviously trolls are doing this.Just like everyone in jail is innocent.
Posts, no. Threads, yes.I understand the analogy but its not the same. There are people who can spam every single thread with "we got to fire Manny" posts and nothing happens to them. Sounds like a draymond suspension too me. Ayesha was rightPeople break rules and accumulate points. It's not like points are handed out for no reason.
This is different how? If the objective is to keep discussion civil, how is it more productive to stop 10 threads but not 100 posts? A rule should be a rule. It should be apply to everyone not just those who disagree with what the boards (I'm presuming now guided narrative) is.Posts, no. Threads, yes.
Because threads are more prominent than posts and get more attention. You don't see two posts getting merged because they're on the same topic. Also, mods don't read every single post, but they are much more likely to see a thread title. This is different how? You don't have to read every single post to recognize a spam campaign being carried out. I don't read every post. I don't have time to. But the mods read enough to see the patterns of postings by certain people just like I do. How do you guys only notice Fraggle?Because threads are more prominent than posts and get more attention. If you're aware of a pattern of troll threads started by someone, take it to KTDT.You don't have to read every single post to recognize a spam campaign being carried out. I don't read every post. Who else is banned right now?
That's your job moderator. If you're aware of a pattern of troll threads started by someone, take it to KTDT.
I'm a maude, not a mod.That's your job moderator.
Free Fraggle!
Because the police can't catch all the criminals, the ones they do catch should go free? I know that can't be your actual point...You don't have to read every single post to recognize a spam campaign being carried out. I don't read every post. I don't have time to.
