The final 6 offensive drives

Crazy to be in the middle of watching that rut meanwhile Wake hits that in a single pass. Bizarre af in any case, but especially after watching this offense for 2.5 games before that.

Let's talk about taking a holding penalty when you had them at 4th and 11... I was in utter shock
Why were you shocked? It was the right thing to do statistically.

Accept the penalty and it's 3rd & 24 and all we had to do was not **** down our own leg. Even doing that we had them 4th & 3 and Pruitt missed the tackle short of the 1st down.

Ran 7 or 8 screens in a 10ish play span. Toney only played 3rd downs for a stretch, Barkate was in and out. I know Mensah looked a little banged up, but it wasn’t hampering his ability to make any pass he did in the first half.

I really think Dawson packed it up after 31-7. Then Wake took momentum and any effort to take it back ended with our O line getting destroyed.

I sat there n waited between 500 screens for him to call a safe hitch route pass that was there...

Also here are no rb screens in the playbook....

what really happened we went up 31-7 and didnt want to put anything else on tape for the rest of the acc so shut it down...then the qb got shaky so dawson phoned it in with the screens. Ive seen him do thhis before when he feels the qb is shaky.

Why would make mensah so shaky ? I thought he would throw 4-5 TDs based on the first half.

Dawson can’t help himself with screens. The guy did this with cam all the time. Build a lead, **** around, defense gets leaky, game in jeopardy. Many years of tape on this.

Mensah also was way too reliant on Toney. In the FBS games Toney had a huge % of catches and yards and this may be what you get when Toney isn’t out there. All they did was play press and the guy froze up

22 plays for a grand total of 26 yards.

Mali and Fletcher injured. Marty out. Mensah banged up on a hit he took in the 3rd. Mensah was hobbled but Fletcher basically forced him to get up and run off the field after a hit he took.

I’m going to chalk it up to all of that and the team struggled when adversity hit. There are some glaring issues though that the coaches have 1 more game to figure out before Clemson.
