The experts are firing Diaz today...simply brilliant!

alot of idiots around OP. Diaz is one of the top 5 D cords in CFB but we are so young and the offense put us in horrible positions. Zero complaints overall about our coaches especially on D.

LOL Clemson could of scored 60 if they didn’t call of the dogs. Manny got schooled.

The last 3 games, the first halves, I wonder what the collective percentages are for the opposing QBs. Its gotta be insane.

Manny showed he used a couple more years of practice. He is doing fine but needs to do better. Same as the rest of the staff. We need more top players. The only thing ready for NCs is the crowd at The Rock. VT and ND showed it ready to rumble. We got to a game away from playoffs. We got our a$$es kicked but we have been improving not declining, that is very good.

Offense is trash and you want to fire the DC?

So if one unit is bad and the other mediocre we should just not expect to improve the mediocre unit? Weird thinking. Was what cats were saying about Coley early on too. “The offense isnt the problem its the defense!”

Both units arent good enough for where we wanna be. I see no problem in pointing that out.

Both units feed off each other. Last night the O offered nothing to eat. It’s not weird thinking it’s how team sports work.

There is fair and due criticism towards our performances these past 2 to 3 games. There are some things we can't help in season (no bye week, depth), but in other instances there's issues that should not be recurring weekly.

Clemson hit us on the first three drives with punches our prior opponents also threw successfully. That shouldn't happen, ever. Their QB hit us on slants, underneath throws and bubbles to the tune of 15/15 before one of his guys finally dropped the ball. They moved the pocket and attacked our zones the same as UVA and Pitt, even as far back as Toledo if you want to be technical.

Our CBs aren't great in zone. They don't pass off coverage well, at all, really. Young and Delaney were beaten and exposed horribly by this. McCloud in coverage has been exploited week after week. If it happens once, twice sure, that's football. But, week after week, a QB with a pulse shreds you? Did Clemson do some exotic new offense we weren't prepared for? No. In fact, they were probably surprised it was that easy. They didn't have that much success against any other P5 team-- Not FSU, VT, AU, SU, etc.

I don't think any of us is under the delusion that we were going to win that game, but 38-3 and getting shredded for 21 out of the gate, yeah, the criticism is fair and it doesn't warrant yet another one of your whiny b1tçh threads telling people what they can and cannot say. You don't pay the bills here, so you're every bit the keyboard commando as the rest of us, probably worse. Instead of talking football, you read threads and reverse troll people who say things you don't like and create yet another EarnestEatMyA$$ Fanbase Management Threads. Get over yourself.

3 straight bad games

... three straight garbage games where the offense played like garbage and didn't help the cause.

Nor did the defense choking away opportunities. Bandy's whiff at Pitt, guys not able to jump on the ball early against the Panthers—and doing it again twice last night. Defense in position to make plays and then guys not making the play; yet everyone is going to rail on the coach and call.

How far was Miami's offense really going to go down the stretch (without a bye since September) with Malik Rosier, Travis Homer, a spotty offensive line, using Deejay Dallas in gimmicky fashion, relying on underclassmen receivers—and going at Clemson without Herndon or Richards.

This Miami team was lucky to get to 10-2 and win the Coastal this year. Headed to the Orange Bowl and a year ahead of schedule; year two under Richt 2.0. Anyone complaining has a short memory regarding where this program was over the past dozen years.

Facts!!!

The obvious blitzing has been my biggest issue with the D. On most plays, the opposing QB can casually see where the pressure is coming from and then simply throw to those holes. It’s okay to bring pressure, but he has to do a better job of disguising them. Secondary hasn’t been great the past few games but our LB’s have been the biggest issue in space and coverage, mainly McCloud. You’d think manny would be out here plucking sum long, athletic, sideline to sideline LB’s but he’s not and that’s confusing. I also hate the extreme use of stunts on the DL. I feel as if we have enough talent to apply pressure with our guys straight up and it’s hurt us a lot in the run game. We are in position for a lot of TFL’s but as those have came, big runs have also. But this is Kul’s Group and I trust him as a coach to know what needs to be corrected. We shouldn’t be talking about firing him, but he definitely needs to correct some of these problems.

The defense opened the game by letting the opposing team score 21 points without a stop and over 200 yards. Cats used to blame D’Onofrio for Coleys **** offense too.

They are the defending champs - game could have easily been 14-10 at half

It is a proven fact that those who constantly attack the ghay lifestyle are typically hiding in the closet petrified to tell others they like catching versus pitching. Set yourself free sweetie pie and tell the world you are ghay and **** proud of it!!!

We were a 7-4 team without this defense.

The entire team wore down after the two big games (VT & ND), both of which were won, due in large part to the defense. The lack of a bye week is a much bigger issue than folks realize.

It isn't all on the offense, Diaz deserves heat. But the guys are out there too long. Offense was playing well enough, there were open guys again, QB has to hit open receivers that have been there. But without a guy like Richards or Coley out there to take the heat of a guy like Berrios that makes it even tougher for the O. Also the special teams has to give the defense something to work with, punting is awful.
