The Expectations for Mark Richt SHOULD be High

First, Mark Richt is not a Rookie Head Coach or Breaking In at his first Major program. Therefore, We Will NOT Treat Him That Way.

Second, many see Mark Richt as a Home Run Hire. If so, hold him to the Home Run Hire Standard. That is, Home Home Run Hires win National Championship and they don't take long to do it at National Championship Caliber Programs. Miami is a National Championship Caliber Program situated in the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country. It is only Proper to compare UM's So called Home Run Hire to 2 other Home Run Hires...Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Saban won a NC at LSU in Year 4. Also, Saban won a NC at Bama in Year 3. Meyer won a NC at UF in Year 2. Also, Meyer won a NC at OSU in Year 3. Therefore, UM's so called Home Run Hire should win a National Championship by the 2019 season, if not sooner. I personally think UM should make a SERIOUS National Championship run much sooner. For this to happen, Mark Richt MUST Improve his Big Game Coaching Acumen ASAP! His Performance in Big Games at UGA is Totally Unacceptable. He MUST do whatever it takes to Improve in that area! If Mark Richt can have the same initial impact that Jim Harbaugh had at Michigan, the Competition better look out in 2016...we can make a run. Jim Harbaugh did it with a mediocre transfer QB, not a Brad Kaaya. Side Note: Harbaugh should be a Serious Coach Of The Year candidate for the job he did. Michigan was 5-7 in 2014.

Third, Richt MUST Lock-Down the State of Miami. (a) Winning does that. (b) Mark Richt MUST identify the Proper UM CALIBER Recruits...not choir boys that lack the S. Fla Edge. Also, find those TRUE S. Fla Diamonds in the Rough. (c) Richt MUST NOT COACH THE AGGRESSION OUT OF PLAYERS...just control it!

Fourth, run a Defensive Scheme that fits the Talent Base, which is Aggressive In Nature. Richt MUST NEVER SACRIFICE TALENT FOR SCHEME......EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER!

Lastly, Mark Richt must be ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with Winning National Championships....not satisfied with winning 9, 10 games, which was his standard at UGA! BE A SAVAGE! JUST BE UM AND NOT GIVE A **** ABOUT BEING LIKED! LIKED COACHES DON'T WIN NCs....BUT THEY ARE RESPECTED AND FEARED! THE HATE WILL INCREASE AS THE WINS INCREASE AND HE SHOULD LOVE IT!

There's no way Richt would've taken the job here if he was alright with 9 wins. If that was the case he would've went to UVA. Only reason he takes this job is he's got a chip on his shoulder.
 
Did i miss where Saban and Meyer were available? Lets compare him to Bill Walsh too...
 
Ill compare to who was available. Butch no titles fired last two jobs. Mullen no titles sorse record less experience. Schiano MRSA, Rutgers lol..... vomit...Cristobal couldnt hack it in sun belt..suicide.

I dont need to compare Richt to anyone to know the expectations at Miami are national championships.

Times have changed. Im definitely not saying miami cant win a championship because we can. But its so much harder now than it was back in the old days. Money is such a huge part of college football and even though were spending big this time we still cant compete with alabama/ohio state money. Im expecting us to be good every year but im a realist, I know were not going to be Bama competing for a national championship yearly.

I do think well compete for a few championships during the Richt era. I just dont see us becoming a year in year out national contender. Hope Im wrong.

Careful, Sonny, it's not safe for us Butch supporters any more unless we repent and adopt the new religion. Mark is the best coach we have had since Butch -- heck he might better coach than Butch too. If Butch had been here the last 3 years recruiting, I would be putting money down on Mark winning the NC this year.
 
I'm not going to say a bad thing about him for at least two years. But he gets four. I think he'll have us in the ACCCG in two.

Like the stupid people who on both sides of politics hoping our country fails so their opinion is proved right. Personally i always hope im wrong when something i dont agree with is decided. Butch didnt g et hired so lets trash our new coach. Cant you at least wait until he ***** something up first?
