the excuses AG will make after we get field raped by SC

"Joe, it was a quick turnaround as we had to get healed up, stay bunkered down for finals, then worked our tails off for the couple days before the holiday. You know the game being 2 days after Christmas is quite challenging being away from home and playing somewhere that he haven't been in a long time makes it tough for any team. I mean USC is a team whose record doesn't really reflect their ability and the speed they face weekly in the SEC really showed. We really wanted to win this one for the seniors to send them out with a win and just came up a bit short and thats disappointing. They made a few more plays than we did as we just didn't execute enough and missed too many tackles. Time for the us as a staff to hit the road recruiting and move on to next year. Real proud of this team and especially the seniors who we are going to miss"

Holy chit are you his press writer?

it's called 4 years hearing the same BS......

You see Joe, there's a fine line between a day and a night game..with this game being at 3 o'clock its a difficult threshold to overcome. But dang nabbit these kids played their tails Off Joe, no matter how much last or execution there has been the past 4 years, we're almost there

"Again, Joe, the players had nothing to do in Shreveport, so that distracted them and took away from their preparation."

It was dark the night before the game. Then at kickoff it was light. We weren't prepared for that.

The wore white shoes. They hadn't shown that before.

Just wanted to get some of the new guys some playing time, maybe gave em a little to much. It starts with me tho, ya know? it's unacceptable, there is no more cloud, and no more excuses!! this team will win the independence bowl next year! mark my words, Joe. ( CALLS BLAKE.. I THINK THEY BOUGHT IT) #trendingup

" It starts with me, but You also have to consider the date, the fact that the temperature is slightly lower than we're used to, and I didn't have enough practice time"

" It starts with me Joe. That being said, not many
people realize that Shreveport is 200 feet above sea
level. Kids were really sucking wind out there. I cut practices
down in anticipation of this and even had the players
practice on a landfill. It's just a hard adjustment. "

"They've got the Ol' Ball Coach, Joe. We knew they'd be prepared, and they where. Plus, I don't think the doors to their visitor's locker room are standard size. We couldn't even get our DE's through them and onto the playing field. That was a tough one to overcome."

What can I say. We didn't give up. USC has a tough team. I wish we could have sent these seniors out on a higher note. You know they stayed with us through the storm when they could have left. We've got a lot of young talent so I'm excited for next year. This will hopeful,y be motivation to get better in the off season.

Golden: "First, it all starts with me. There's no excuse for the way we played today. But, sometimes when teams have extra practice time, they throw new looks at you. Give you things you haven't seen before. But still, it's on me. Those three special teams mistakes, I think <pausing> two of them lead directly to touchdowns and the third was a safety. Really put our defense in bad spots. I mean, of their 6 touchdown drives, what?, 3 of them started at midfield? Defense only gave up 450 yards. Normally, you do that, a team doesn't score as much on you."

Golden: "It was sad to see Duke Johnson end his Miami career like that, we didn't do a very good job of getting him the ball in space, and then he missed the 4th quarter with **** cramps. <wipes away sweat> That's tough.

Matt Porter: "Coach, you just said Duke was ending his career at the school, so he's going pro?"

Golden: <shrugging, speechless for a second> "I mean, I don't know where you got that from, he's a great young man, and no matter what he decided, we're happy for him."

Matt Porter: "But you ju..."

Golden: <Interrupting> "But you look at the progress of some of the young players, and I think you can take a little bit of positive from this. I think we have a lot to build on, starting with summer practice."

<stunned silence>

SMD: "Herp derp, coach Goldeens, did you say summer practice?"

Golden: "Yes, we've decided to take a few months off, start practice in summer. Thank you and see you then."

There's no slurpers left. It's just Al on an island, violently thrusting his **** around like a madman, trying to face**** anything that comes near him.

As soon as he gets that post game microphone, expect the worst. Expect a full on mouth rape. Muting your tv or changing the channel has no bearing. He knows you're out there.

Well, with Clive out, it made it difficult for us to stop the run.

But Clive is a TE...

Yeah, you know, the thing about these 3:30 games, the noon games are really tough on the kids to have to be ready so early...and the night games, those are so hard to prepare for because of the travel time getting home. But these 3:30 games, they are neither an early game nor a late game, so that makes them the toughest of all.
