The Evolution of Jordan Lyle's Game

Many make comments without considering all of the ramifications of their wishes. Perfect example of wanting more uptempo on offense without considering what the ramifications would be on defense.

I made a similar comment and got bashed for saying a percentage of our fanbase is unrealistic.
Football is not perfect and never will be…that’s why we know who the video game fans are,…it’s 22 players on the field you can tell who never played 🤣🤣🤣

We are getting players back and we need to develop a few more.

We are trending right where we need to be to pack Notre Dame up and make this CFP run

Cristobal knows what he’s doing he’s a champion…our fanbase needs to fall in line

Honesty we should be playing more uptempo anyhow. Only issue there is Mario probably wouldn't be on board with that and as many injuries as we have on defense it would be counterproductive. Wouldn't be surprised if we see more uptempo in playoffs though when we're healthy. That's only way to get another 20 or so touches to spread around. It's a tricky slope though. Most fans don't understand the balance that has to exist between offense and defense to get them both playing at peak form

We are averaging a few more offensive snaps per game than we did last year, which is a step in the right direction (but we do have a double OT game in there). With our offensive efficiency and talent advantage, I'd still like to see us in the mid-70s for offensive snaps in regulation.

I choose my words wisely. My comment was a bit more subtle. Somewhat the same sentiment but with a little more nuance.

Anything can happen on any given Saturday. That’s why I personably prefer not to pigeon hole myself into a certain emotional narrative.

Points are of utmost importance. But nothing got me harder than cranking out a 10-play, 70-yard drive in 5:01 against Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. You cannot stop this. This is happening to you.
