Lots of insiders were raving about JJ's camp performance and we finally got to see it on the field. Way too early to be mentioning him w/ #26 right now though. Will be interesting to watch his season/career evolve though.

Is @lindend A.I.? Did he break out of recruiting containment? Whats going on here with William Green or is it on my end?

The way he came down & filled the lane was very good play recognition from him.

A big part of playing Strongside Safety is Backside gap pursuit & he's already ahead of schedule in that department.

He's the size of a LB with the speed & the instincts of a Safety.

Big time flip stealing this kid outta Kansas.

Already contributing in two roles. He is in the box when we play dime and he occasionally plays deep safety when Fitzgerald moces
to nickel and Thornton sits. He looked quite good.

Nice box to cross off in the season opener…. The game is not too big for him. When the lights came on, he seemed comfortable and made plays. Start feeding him more

He pops off the screen. Explosive, instinctive, confident. Will be hard to take off the field. Will play that Jakobe Thomas spot at the highest level here.

Good call. The thing with JJ is I think he can play boundary, field, and nickel.
I fully agree with you. He can play all over. I just imagine him on last years team as an upperclassman in that Thomas role. He would be able to make all those downfield plays that Thomas made, but would create even more havoc with his sideline to sideline cover ability. Same style, but maybe a few more picks, and another pick six type of player. Seriously talented athlete.
