The Evolution of Javian Mallory's Game

I said it in August and I will still hold to this belief and say it now.
He is going to be our main "go to" back by the end of the season. He is only going to get better with more reps and as the speed of the game slows down for him at this level.

I love the formations we are using with both him and Lyle out there. I think we are going to set teams up with some good passing plays to the flats and also wheel routes.

Ok, that's wild. Rich Alexis was a major reason why we didn't go to the national championship in 2000. Dude had like a 50 yard TD in our game.

Second, there's a really good chance Mallory is Miami's leading rusher after FSU.
Mallory has good tutelage learning under Alexis and Mark Ingram. Some similarities with the latter. I’m too young to know about the former, however, I have to assume there are similarities there too.

More than just being his uncle, Alexis has been the RB coach at West Boca for Mallory’s whole time over there.
