true story. some in my family scrabble a lot. i've played 4-5 times and won every time. i am undefeated.

i predict in a few years that the OED will recognize the word disirregardless as an equivalent to regardless, just like it has accepted was for were in the subjunctive (heresy, i say). it is the deterioration of language.

Fellow English major and one need not look far to find malapropisms, torturous grammatical errors- and words used in correctly in online media- like real newspapers online editions
