Tough to spot if you never played or coached OL but he's pretty technical in pass pro. Mirabal has given him an ****nal of techniques to use. He jump sets alot of reps and stops the rush before it gets going.

He's also easily the biggest **** talker in that room and probably on the team. Pay attention to him in the endzone lol.
 
Solid vid, good stuff. The only thing is Miami fans definitely know who Anez Cooper is, as well as how to say Mauigoa properly.
But regardless I'm glad to see Big Coop get a whole vid about his transformation and success.

I get it bro, the Poly names might be the most tricky to pronounce.
But again I'm just glad to see Cooper getting his flowers. The man put in work and has been a rock for this team. I'm glad the coaches found him, pretty late in the process too if I recall. There could be a whole vid on his recruitment process alone.

Guards don't usually go that high. Last year's draft was kind of an anomaly. Here's the number of guards drafted in the first two rounds over the last 6 years:

2025 - 5
2024 - 1
2023 - 3
2022 - 4
2021 - 2
2020 - 1

I would LOVE if Anez was drafted in the first two rounds. He's been one of my fave players for a while now. He would have to play close to All-American level to get to that draft level though.
