And how about how well he coaches TE? So it’s his fault his punter has a nervous breakdown everytime he plays on the big stage? Because he punts normally without it...is there some kind of screening process you want to put punters through?

Yeah, I want him to find a punter that doesn't sh_t his pants every time he trots out there, and more importantly, I want coverage teams that actually f_cking cover and a kicker who doesn't launch the ball out of bounds twice in one game. If all of that isn't on the special teams coach then who the f_ck is it on??

I understand that we have had good TE play the last few years, but I'd chalk that up to top-shelf talent more than Hartley being some genius.

So a freshman does that one time and now it’s a recurring theme?

And absolutely let’s throw all of that out. Let’s throw out that Polendey looks like our best in-line blocking TE since Epps even though it’s been in small clips. Let’s throw out that he pulled a kid from Nevada and flipped a legacy commit from Michigan. Let’s throw out that they look like talented, crisp route runners and good blockers as well. All because a punter ***** himself on the big stage.

No, I’m arguing that you’re giving **** to a freshman kicker because he kicked two balls out of bounds in game even though he drilled the rest out of the end zone. Guy isn’t even into half his freshman year and you’re taking a **** on him.

Wow man... You took a single point from my larger argument and blew it way out of proportion. The purpose of my post was to question Hartley's overall management of special teams. I used the errant kickoffs as a single example. If you want me to elaborate, I think Baxa was probably following instructions to place kicks on one side of the field, which was probably a dumb call by Hartley. So no, I'm really not "taking a shīt" on Baxa. Just questioning Hartley's coaching.

Man, when Gorlden was here--mind you he was also special teams coordinator, Badge used to kick that shlt out of bounds like he thought that's where it was supposed to go.

Hopefully FSU grabs him after they fire Taggart and Diaz takes Searles and the entire Defensive staff with him(minus Simpson). I would even let them take Simpson if they take Jon Richt as a package deal.
