The ending

If you spike that means its 4th and you have to kick for a FG. Pretty sure rambo was past the sticks so if he caught it there would have been plenty of time to spike. In reality should have been a corner endzone shot like Richt said postgame
TVD was gassed. I would’ve spiked it and just tie it. Question, does the clock have a run off if we fake an injury? Would’ve been nice to fake one for TVD so he could catch his breath.

I really don't care individual plays but more about the big picture. You will find calls and plays to criticize in every game.

No reason to just settle for the FG. We saw a few weeks ago the kid isn’t ready for the moment. Just because he paints his face like his brother doesn’t mean he kicks it like him.

Why not spike the ball?

Also, throw a slant over the middle? If he caught it the game was over. It was also double covered.

Not sure why we do what we do.
They were playing for the TD, so I'm not mad at the intentions. But UNC blitzed, which freed up the DT it looks like and TVD decided to throw instead of take the sack or maybe try to turn and run the other way (granted he's not D'eriq King).

It was 3rd down. The correct decision was to take the sack and settle for the game tying FG. This wasn't Dorsey in the Fiesta Bowl on 4th down and down a TD. A sack and a FG would've kept us alive.

I'm not that mad at him. Rookie mistake by a rookie QB. He doesn't play defense last I checked.

If he takes a sack we never get a fg try off

I just took another look at the game clock. You're probably right. It would've been rushed at best.

So maybe spiking the ball or going for the TD from the gun would've been better options.

Poor execution no matter how you look at it.

It was 7 Canes vs 6 Tarheels at the line and we still let 2 Tarheels get to the QB smh. Rooster and Jakai hung TVD out to dry.
