All a striker is a lb who lacks the physicality to play at the line and a strong safety who lacks the ball skills to roam... It's a tweener essentially. If that's what we target good lord do we got a problem.

smh... the striker basically has the speed to cover the TE and the RB out of the backfield... a athlete without a position...it has had plenty of success with Romeo Finley and now with Gilbert Frierson, but you want to get rid of it??? Striker is the least of our problems...yall just *****in' and moaning ...

Gil would be a monster free safety... And guess what if u taking all these undersized linebackers and u drop one into coverage regardless should they not be able to cover a tight end or rb? Smh I guess u think u just explained anything different than I did. Lol

I don't think people understand how important the striker is to this team right now....the way Manny recruited we have to find ways to put the best players on the field...our LBs are not athletic or fast enough to cover, miss tackles, always get pushed back, can't diagnose fast enough etc...current LB personnel will continue to get exposed .... exactly why Manny should add some Dime packages with a money roll...it can be a LB that can cover which we don't have right now, striker or safety....he can put Frierson and Smith in at the same time with one middle LB...James Williams in with Bolden and Hall or Avante Williams.....this would allow him to put top talent on the field at the same time ....
