It's hard to disagree with OP in this instance. I'm obviously elated that Golden has been sent to ****, but his filthy fingerprints are all over this team.

We still have possibly the worst coordinator duo of any power 5.
We still tend to go into a shell on defense.
Coley still calls some head-scratching plays.
We still look soft.
Our OL might as well be traffic cones.

I'm excited about our future, but there's many times during games you realize the next guys got some work to do to rinse the foul stench of Al Golden off this group.

It's very hard to watch. Everything about this team says Al Golden. We are playing a 3-5 Virginia team and all I see is Al Golden's influence......Pure Mediocrity.
