Surprised when I found out (didn't hear an announcement at the game, i.e. not made or too loud) that the refs were Big 12; I assumed SEC based on the calls/non-calls ratio. Surprised the Big 12 Director of Officiating didn't give the wink/wink, nudge/nudge to his crew to call it fairly straight, Beck RTP notwithstanding, it favored Indiana from my view in the seats.
In order for the Big 12/ACC to rise, they have to break the Duopoly of the B1G/SEC. The last champion not from the "Big Two" was Clemson in 2018. You are already at a disadvantage with one position each (if no 16 team expansion, which POTUS Trump made more doubtful) and don't forget The Domers apparent side deal. Yormack is supposed to be light years ahead of Phillips, but this little difference to the duopoly sure doesn't help the (non) Power Two...Unless he is getting some sweetener somewhere else or eyes Sankey's job since The Commission still had a lot of infighting too.
