It seems this MONSTA is back healthy and already working out with King.

Is he playing meaningful minutes this year?

Knighton and Chaney are getting meaningful snaps.. No doubt about it. Both are too talented to keep off the field. They will ball in this spread offense. I also like what Robert Burns showed in some flashes last year. He brings a different element the other 3 backs don’t so he has something to offer. Very happy with the RB group going into this season.

If anyone has some answers to these questions it would be *greatly* appreciated-
1. Is Brevin Jordan officially 100% healthy? What exactly was his injury? Foot/ankle? A broken bone? Know he was in a walking boot. Miami never releases the exact injury
2. Michael Redding should be 100% healed and ready to go, correct?
3. Bradley Jennings- I know it was a hip Injury but what was the exact injury?? He’s been out forever..
4. Navaughn Donaldson- pretty sure it’s an ACL but again, Miami hasn’t released anything.

No idea.
No offense bud but i believe the thread is on Running backs.

Again, would be surprised if Chaney isn't around 220+ by the time he leaves here. I think he still has a next level to bloom into physically and it will show in the results many have fairly said they didn't see during his HS career.

If you *had to pick one, who would take? Chaney or Knighton? Can’t believe we got both.. What an unbelievable job by Hickson.

agree. I believe he is a late bloomer physically and his best is yet to come. Can not be more pumped with him and Rooster destroying defenses in the next three years. man future looks tremendous at RB

Would not be surprised whatsoever, he was 5’11 211 at the army game first week in January this year

It's cool. Sometimes i can be a slapdick. What's your opinion on our rb strategy? Room is getting thick...
Great question.. Cam Harris is definitely going to be the starter. When Deejay went down last year, he showed me enough. As talented as Chaney and Knighton are, they haven’t had a lot of practice and haven’t had much time with Feeley. Luckily, we don’t start conference play until basically the second half of the season though, so they will have time to get up to speed. All three of those backs will get touches. I want to see two of them on the field at the same time.. With D’Eriq King of course. Make the defense account for all of them. Lashlee needs to take advantage of this talent.

Very eloquent answer. I like the perspective...

To go one step further.. What about Tate Martell? He can be useful for certain packages,
Maybe trick plays? He’s very quick, I believe he had a high shuttle time. My point is, he can be used for something and can help us. I truly believe that. He doesn’t have to rot on the bench. He can be of some use. Assuming he’s mentally okay.. Our red zone offense should be amazing this year..

Not a comparison because I don't do that but a Mcaffery package would be nice. I would love to know if he can catch the ball out of the backfield.

Oh, I hate this game. Would need more specifics about the rest of the team and the situation to pick just one. To be as effective as we want to be (more than just Coastal), I think we *need* both. If you watch Lashlee's sets from SMU and Auburn, you know there's a good amount of variation to what he asks his OL to do. What that means to me is we need different types of backs.

I think Knighton has the more immediate impact because he's a near perfect fit for what I expect Lashlee to do this season - keep things simple, spread the field, find matchups and utilize a lot of zone calls where Knighton's style is a seamless fit. But, if you really dig into Lashlee's more complex OL pulls, I think Chaney - especially as his body develops - becomes a perfect complement with Knighton.
