Notre Dame lost to the 7th place team in the MAC last year.

At home.

And it wasn't a fluke. There was no immaculate reception, the ND team didn't have the flu, there wasn't a sinkhole that swallowed their sideline.

Northern Illinois outgained them 388 to 286.

They held the ball for over 34 minutes.

ND threw the ball 33 times.....for 163 yards.

I am not taking even 5 seconds to listen to that, but yeah the arrogance has been insane this past few days. Beck doesn’t mean ****, Carr not a problem, venue not a problem, this is a walk in the park for the Irish lmao.

I've been surprised with the amount of CFB analysts picking the Canes. Off the top of my head, Staples, Chip P (C3) 5 of 7 from CBS and pretty sure Mcelroy before he got the nod for the game.
 
It’s clear that these folden homers are insecure and hope that by stating and repeating these ridiculous statements it’ll make them true. Newsflash, it won’t. Sunday night they’ll walk into the Rock filled with bravado and their chests puffed out, but the fighting irish will become the biting irish as we hold their face into a pillow on national television.

The secondary is elite - it doesn't mean they won't give up plays.

WR is a B+, not an A-.

DLine is only 3-deep at one end side. IDL might go 3-deep, but huge drop off.

If Carr doesn't make mistakes, ND should have really good chance to win.

ND's culture is great- we love it. I can't compare it to others because I'm not close to those programs. But whatever.

ND is faster than they've been in 30 years, but Miami is also very fast.

ND needs to win a Natty to be anywhere close to a 'Golden Age'. It's better than Brian Kelly being here.

Notre Dame is really good, but we need a QB. It's the difference between 12-0 and 8-4.
