I believe that our football program is becoming more modern, and so should our uniforms. Miami is a flashy city and our unis should reflect our city.

I realize the old-heads on this board love the throwback unis we wear now but majority of recruits do not, and believe it or not, Uniforms matter to recruits, period. "but Bama doesn't..." Well, yeah, but Bama also hands out major 💰 💰💰. We need any recruiting advantage we can get.

Under Nike we were innovators of uniform combinations. I believe we should go in the direction that Adidas has taken Louisville with their uniforms.

What are your opinions if the football program adopted the Miami Vice jerseys that the Heat wear?

EDIT: There is a reason why when we play on national televised games against like VT we wear our "Miami Nights" alternates. IT APPEALS TO RECRUITS. Manny said we are The New Miami, I guarantee we modernize our uniforms.

Didn't we do that with the "Miami nights" uniforms. We only wore them during prime time games I believe.

Yes.

Skeptical about Vice uniforms, but wouldn't mind entertaining that as an alternate depending on how it comes out.

But in general we should experiment more yes. The black alternates everyone eats up. My favorite is all white stormtropper, so id like to see a modern edge to that.

Adidas is badass and has overtaken Nike recently in trendiness again. We should absolutely leverage that. Would also like some better Adidas clothing for fans this upcoming season. All white hurricanes track outfit to match my pure white ultra boosts would be sick.

-Miami kids love Oregon's flashy jersey's the best...Even have youth squads copying the Oregon swag...Yet they have 0 recruiting presence in South Florida.
-As a younger cat, I did enjoy the White out we did @Cincy a few years back, and the military appreciation uni's (Especially since I was in the service at the time). I think things are optimal the way they are now.
-We have built pride and branding with the color scheme and design of our logo, no need to tarnish it with a ton of changes. I want to say that "Miami Vice" thing would be cool, but we only have 15 chances to put on the jersey's, as opposed to Basketball having 82 chances in the regular season alone. We can't play with alternates as much as they can.

would be cool but at the same time when you are part of a historic program you unis have to remain kinda the same. Look at all the historic programs around the country.

Look at Ohio State, one if the most historic programs, even adapted to the times.

This is the second thread you've started on this exact topic.

It's not just Bama that doesn't give a **** about fashion uniforms. Literally every powerhouse program in the nation sticks to a classic combination with maybe an occasional 3rd combo they wear once a year.

Kids certainly don't give a **** either because none of the teams in the top 25 of 247's recruiting rankings have corny uniforms besides Oregon.
