My prediction, people will be back to hating Dorito like they hate coley after the Arkansas state game.
 
Is our defense improved? So far, it seems that way.

Does this defense still suck? Yes.
 
I pity the next coach or team this board starts a bandwagon for. First Leach then Narduzzi. Based on the board's track record I expect wherever the **** Arkansas State's campus is located to be hit by a massive tornado.

I'll say this, I don't like the staff. That said, everyone plays **** teams the first few weeks, we have played a decent team in Louisville.

That said, I see the same deficiencies. Wait till we get spread out by Duke, FSU, etc before we make an assessment. I think Arky St will provide issues for our D.

Defense is definitely taken a huge step forward in terms of talent, still hate the passive scheme we play. Give Stoops or Pruitt this talent and we would be hammering folks

Explain Tracy Howard vs. FAMU and how the blame lies somewhere other than squarely on his shoulders for not making the plays.

Our defense was ranked in the top 10 too at this time last season and guess what clown. Our offense looked like **** in it's 1st two last season as well.

We were 5 of 25 on 3rd down in those 1st two games last season.

Talent is better than the bums we had out there the last few years but experienced talent and depth of talent is still lacking at LB and DL.

Realistically I think the defense is singnificantly better but still has a lot of room to grow and bring in even more talent.

the top defenses in the country come at you with waves of talented guys all over the field.

I think the team is getting closer to doing that at all positions except maybe linebacker.
 
Same **** happened last year where we all of a sudden saw an "improved defense" early in the year, only for October to come around and our defense took a historic nosedive to put them right back into the bottom third of college football, right where they belonged.

Before we start pimping the defense, let the year play out a bit...it'll come back down to earth.
