The decommits and lack of signings.

So what do you think the primary reason(s) are for the kids decommiting? We had a pretty **** good recruiting class last year and so far this year looks abhorrent. A few things come to mind. 1. The uncertainty of the QB situation. It seemed like Richt had no real clue as to who the starter should be. He kept shuffling Perry and Rozier line he was just throwing something at the wall and hoping one would get a hot hand. 2. The lack of QB development. Rozier seemed to regress instead of showing any signs of progress, and Perry really didn't display any flashes of brilliance either. Again, possibly due to the constant rotation or just simply the inability of John Richt to develop a QB. 3. The offensive scheme, or lack thereof. 4. Consecutive losses to Virginia, BC, Duke & GT. 5. Manny leaving.
don't forget who just got hired as co-DCs

OFFENSIVE errors. Press & "fans" depicting the sky is falling (bad results & poor decisions for sure) giving grounds to competing coaches having recruiting success. Face it: Would you want a 25 yo QB coach with NO success at developing? Tell that to a 4 or 5 star QB and he isn't coming here! Add in the QB can't throw to the WR and if you're a leading WR easy to recruit against UM. Throw in most exciting coach leaving and you have it! Negative momentum! Another post.....
