The curious case of Bubba Baxa

Maybe we need to do what bama did a few years back (I think it was them) and deploy two kickers, one for long FGs and one for the short stuff. I can't handle Bubba kicking any more important short yardage FGs. He is an absolute choke artist.
 
he didn't have a lot of pressure kicks last year, its the situations that are different this year
 
He missed a freaking extra point to take the lead, TRASH. Missed a key FG vs Florida TRASH, Missed the game winner vs NC TRASH

I've seen a few really bad hold. That extra point looked like the laces were pointed directly at his foot. I remember a kick earlier this year the holder didn't spin a well. With kickers, a large piece is mental but the snapper/holder play a critical role as well.

I mean it shouldn’t matter, chip shot you should be able to hit it but I think it just screws you mentally. Like if a fly flew on your golf ball in the middle of your swing. Is it going to change the trajectory? No. But it’s going to cause a slight mental hesitation.

Nah kicking the laces can **** up a kick especially if you happen to make contact with them..who was our holder last year? I wanna say spicer but idk..
