The crowd filled in nicely before the game started. It was a great experience for me, being it was my 1st game at Hard Rock, the tailgating looked fabulous while walking into the stadium. Thought it was an awesome crowd for a game against Central Michigan.

Crowd looked better on TV than I have ever seen a crowd for a g6 game. The Mensah/ Mali show is definitely drawing butts in seats.
 
Not only was the crowd very good for a Central Michigan game but they were also actually in their seats before kickoff. I guess the later start time helped.

Half the crowd went home at half time

Even my cousin who knows not even one hurricane player knows Mali by name.. Called me about bringing her kids to a game, Its absolutely insane the pull these kids have nowadays. And its something I have talked about for yearssssssssss so it brings a tear to my eye. Put an exciting product on the field and the stadium will be filled, I always believed dammit. We will always have star players.

Dam we literally had a lost Decade +

Pet peeve is the a) don’t have clocks with countdown to start of 2H and b) announce a 5 minute warning to 2H start for everyone inside the concourses
 
Family weekend. The buses from campus were operating at like 3x the volume they normally would be to accommodate all the parents.
 
This was the defacto first home game of the season for a lot of fans. Plus, Family Weekend. 6:30pm on a Saturday...1:30 gates opened for tailgating. Was good show for the first half. After halftime, a lot of people were just doing their thing. Tons of people just chilling and drinking the second half inside with slow to or never getting back to their seat types.

Good turnout.
 
Its wild that the student section is half full.
