Saban was asked about Matt Patricia's defense vs Carson Beck on MacAfee's show today.

He thinks it's going to be tough for the Canes to run the ball the way the defense is schemed. He said it's simple but confusing. Seems to believe that Carson is going to have to move the ball through play action and taking shots. Definitely sees it as a challenge for Miami to score points.

Dam, Saban been reading my post, lol.. Last game I said it was gonna be a run type game to get a victory.. Now everyone thinks we can just run up middle to victory.. Beck is gonna have to earn his money in this game.. His Miami legacy is based on tomorrow, good or bad.. We need his best game of season.. and it doesnt have to be 300+ or anything like that, he just needs to make the plays that will be there..

Not panic in pocket, beat the blitz when they bring heat, play a clean game, most of the pass rushers are more motor bull rusher types, he should be to find guys open..

I took it as Saban saying we won't be able to win by throwing for just 100 yards. He's not wrong. Not exactly groundbreaking analysis though lol

Pretty sure Saban was at the game doing gameday..
