Boxing The CIS Boxing Thread

Shakur is the best pure boxer in the world right now, doesn’t have great athleticism or power. But he has mastered the skills and fundamentals, and his processing speed and reflexes are insane. Id have him top5 p4p inoue/usyk/bam/bivol or shakur

Teo after 135(loma fight) has been a C+ level fighter, lost to kambosos and arguably lost to sando martin and jermaine ortiz. I think i said in this thread before that he is terrible vs technical boxers. He is athletic but lacks alot in skills and fundamentals and hasn’t had power since 135,

Teo sr is also the worst trainer i have ever seen in the corner, he literally never says nothing of value. Teo accomplishing this much with him is crazy, he should go train with robert garcia

Agreed 100%. Teo gotta get rid of his daddy. He's horrible. He provides no direction in the corner, only commentary.

Good fight weekend.

Connor ben really has a beef towards shakur, devin, and tank not sure if Ben can beat all three.

people have no idea how horrible Sr is as a trainer. He even shows up to fights drunk. Go back to the Times Square card where he was slurring his speech while working the corner.

And if they bring in a trainer to help be hands on with Teofimo for a camp and it goes well... the mom and dad get jealous. They fire the trainer. I know someone that trained him for 3 fights where Teo won all impressively but the family wasn't having it after a training clip went viral.

Its a **** shame, because he's insanely talented

Speaking of boxing.... I am always looking for old vinyl at auctions. A few weeks ago I bought over 100+ acetate's from the late 40s, sight unseen. I had no clue what was on them. It could have been grandma telling stories about her grandma's bum knee for all I knew. Turns out, they were master recordings from a very well known "Audio librarian". Dr John Hillsman used top end equipment to record all kinds of world events. The first thing I found was a complete 15 round recording of Joe Louis versus Joe Walcott. What I have might be the finest recording of this fight in existence. It's one round per side, on high grade acetates.

Looking into getting them digitized, and to a museum, or serious collector.

Oh, I also have their second fight. ;o)
