Tonight was my first time seeing Hitchens and his patient approach with smooth countering primarily led by a blistering accurate jab is reminiscent of Mayweather. Young buck is nice. I'd love to see him against Teo or Ryan.
I was coming here to say the exact same thing. This was an absolute beautiful performance. Haven't seen such a deadly and accurate jab in so long. My first time seeing him and I'm a fan. Definitely reminds me a bit of Mayweather. This fight actually felt a bit like Mayweather vs Gatti. There was nothing Kambosos could do. **** near looked like an amateur.

Hitchins is nice. He's ready for a step up in competition. Kambosas is a tough MFer so to give him a beatdown like that is impressive. The last 2 fights where I can remember where the fighter had field day with the jab like that was Crawford vs Spence and Haney vs Proregis.

Tonight was definitely a beating but what Mayweather did to Gatti was murder caught on PPV that Floyd with power.

Kid has potential. I hope he stays focused.

I would love to see this fight Haney does have a good jab as well but what I seen from Hitchins was something different!!
I think Haney needs another tune up fight. He didn't look good in his last fight. He needs to get comfortable in the ring again. That loss to Ryan had him damaged.

I never been the biggest Haney fan to begin with but he does have some impressive wins that deserve credit. Yeah his last fight was horrible. It showed nothing. I agree he should have another tune up fight but at this point in his career, that wouldn't be received well. Especially the way his dad talks.

You're 100% correct. Bill Haney talk too much ish. Haney would be in trouble trying to fight Ryan, Teo, Hitchins, Stevenson or Gervonta right now.

This fight at Barclay's would be legendary stuff.

Yo @k9cane, who do you side with on the Hitchins situation? Keith Connolly or Eddie Hearn?

Seems like Eddie's done a great job with Hitchins while taking all the financial risk to build his value....

I'm with Eddie, Hitchins career was going nowhere. Under the direction of Matchroom Boxing he is now in the mix for some significant things -- all the while losing money in the process

Fighters and their camps believe loyalty is a one way street in this business. That's the inconvenient truth that many are loath to admite

I agree. And Eddie seems to be using the old school model of building a fighters profile at home first and once they're selling out their hometowns you can take the show on the road. Successfully doing it with Boots and Hitchins. Also, Eddie seems pretty likable in a sport full of unlikables
