(The) Championship (Game)

In ***** Connelly's preview on ESPN he assessed the opposing trenches as pushes, which is ridiculous. We have the clear advantage our OL vs their DL. If Moten and Mesidor are truly healthy we have a clear advantage our DL against their OL.
That was a terrible writeup. I think he had Miami winning 1 category.

**** that guy.

I watch a bunch of Sam's videos on Youtube, and he often makes sensible points - but his video saying Indiana has a trenches advantage against us is amusing in such a stupid way. Indiana is without Stephen Daley, that's like if we lost Bain.

You're going to tell me Sam that Iowa has a better OL than us? Give me a ******* break! This is the best OL Indiana will face. They won't be able to get pressure with just 4, and have to blitz. Then we carve them up.
They think Iowa has the better OL and big10 has better overall defenses.

***** Connelly is in a bind inside of bind: He hates Mario, he hates Miami, and his pride and joy nerd metric keeps predicting we will lose (we had a 1.7% chance to win the natty before the playoffs started according to *****'s computer). **** him

To further show what a meaningless lump of **** SP+ is, even after making it to the National Championship, Bill Connelly still has us at 9th behind Notre Dame (lol!), Ohio State, and Ole Miss.

Bill Connelly can go **** himself.

LOL Texas Tech is 3rd.

It's funny that people bring up Ponds and Indiana forcing turnovers, but Beck clearly doesn't care if he has to check the ball down. And that's how we kept it moving vs Ohio early. And hitting the RBs out of the backfield to move the chains or make it short distance to the first is how we'll find success offensively.

Yeah BIP.....how about the fact that Indiana's Oline and Dlineman are all significantly overmatched. Name a position where Indiana has an advantage in terms of personnel in the trenches. It doesn't exist. My lord he is an arrogant sack of ****. The guy think he knows more than people who invest millions of dollars into these players. Every NFL draft report is pegging Markel Bell as a 2nd round pick. Maybe late 3rd with bad workouts but late 1st with good workouts. But BIP knows better. He tells us that Bell can't move and will struggle throughout the game. Granted he just gone done handling Cashius Howell and Kenyatta Jackson who are more dynamic than any pass rusher Indiana has but.......BIP says Bell can't handle the Hoosiers D-line none of whom are currently projected as being anything beyond day 3 picks (Landino.....might be in a year or two). The guy should really do the world a favor and liquidate himself.

In BIP's video claiming Beck can't read zone coverages he talked about Miami's "lack of offensive success" against Ohio State. He showed the TD pass to Fletcher calling that a "trick play", that's a stretch, and then said "they got a pick six and the other was a TD with just :55 seconds left".

LOLOL! He down plays one of the most impressive drives of the season by any team. The final drive vs Ohio State when the score was 17-14 and the Canes offense took Ohio States soul making them quit. Miami go the ball back with 5:50 left and marched 70 yards in 10 plays physically destroying Ohio State.

So that's 17 offensive points against Ohio State and over 33 minutes of TOP. What did that amazing Indiana offense do? 13 points, 3 of which were setup by an INT, and TOP was basically equal (OSU edged it).

But what can you expect from a guy who worships "coach Prime", has no understanding of offensive line play ("he got walked back a few yards so he sucks"....thats as deep as his thinking goes), and thinks that a QB with limited mobility who's started for two years at UGA and a year at Miami has managed to pass for roughly 11,500 yards while his teams went 37-5 without the ability to read zone defenses. What can you say to such a person? Everything him and his cohort says is just nonsense.

Sam may not have a good sense of this Miami team

My big key to this game:
IU is gonna test whatever CB is in the xavier lucas CB spot. Whether its Antoine and his inexperience, or OJ and his injury. They are gonna take a handful of shots early in 1st half and try to build a big lead before Lucas even returns.

It would be negligent not to make OJ/Antoine prove they can stop Mendoza and his WRs the entire first half.

Praying for these young men to remain healthy, and live in the moment, enjoy the moment, and perform.
