Or any comparison to any coach who became a winner for that matter. There are no simularites minus the fact that people wanted Davis gone. The same people who wanted Davis gone are the same kinda people who think Golden is some great coach. He's not and he's done nothing to prove otherwise.
Before you bring up the cloud look at what Davis and Howard schellenberger had to deal with. Schellenberger had no tradition to sell recruits, no bowl wins, no national championships no nothing yet he was able to get the players needed to get the job done.
Davis had people telling recruits that the program should be shut down ( sport illustrated had an article) dealt with numerous suspensions and player loss and the loss of 30+ ships.
To compare Golden to any former hurricane great let alone Saban and those guys is a slap in the face to those all time hurricane greats and all the great players who played for these coaches. No true Hurricane would disrespect there names like that.
