The BOT pegged Diaz long before Richtirement

Richt knows Manny better than any of us and may have been trying to do us a favor by waiting until Manny had accepted the Temple job before announcing his retirement.

Blake pulled a fast one on him and everyone else.

Hopefully it all works out for us in the end. Just my opinion.

It's hard for it not to fall on Blake James. There was no search at all directly on the heels of a failed hire. Then comments like "rebuild" just seems like bull**** excuses because we should not be considered a rebuild at all. Manny's stock dropped quicker than anyone could have expected. He was a decent DC and that should have translated into mediocre results at worst.

Which makes Blake James look like a horse's *** for not even shopping before picking a dud.
 
One minute the BOT/AD are incompetent, the next minute it's a BOT/AD conspiracy to placate Diaz Sr.

Yes, blake needs to go, as does the ENTIRE athletic department down to the secretaries. But the deeper issue is a BOT that is completely and utterly hopeless.

They hire like libs do....off hype instead of real results man. They get tricked easily like most fans.....im sure there are people in the building who want to do a real search but are out numbered.
 
@DMoney confirmed that Diaz was going to be next in line all along.

This wasnt Blake panicking. This was them hiring the guy who they picked long ago to replace Richt. A total nobody mediocre DC who never coached anywhere that won, never was a HC before, never played the game, and went to FSU.

Un ******* believable.

bc as Dmoney confirmed, the BOT wanted Diaz to be the next coach whenever Richt retired.

LOL at the idea that Blake just up and hired a guy within hours of Rick retiring. The BOT was going to bring Diaz in the moment Richt retired, whenever that would end up being.

No argument about who was really behind it, but the blame will fall on James.

Poor Randy was hanging out by the local Burger King when the PC Queen struck, shocking even him...

..so exclude him from the slick talking crowd... in fact from any talking crowd.
He could barely get a serviceable sentence together..
