It will could thin out next year as 8 of the 18 linemen have at least four years in the program. As the other poster said, we really could use Connerly to close out this class.

Not only has o line been a weakness, our highest rated o-linemen are almost always busts. We desperately need to get away from recruiting centers and hoping they can play tackle. At least Mario and Mirabal know what type of athlete to target. You can always pack on weight. You can’t add length.

Would love to revisit this in 2-3 years and see the night and day change. Mario and Mirabel will fix this with a quickness. If they can just get through this year and put a band-aid over the bullet wound..we can fix the problem long term starting with this class (Hoping on Connerly) and definitely the next class. (Mario going after some heavy hitters)

Especially if you consider how highly rated he was coming from high school. He’s gotta be one of the biggest busts we’ve had.
From the day we recruited him I said he needs to be moved to Guard, he couldn’t play OT at AH either.

His technique is truly truly horrible, he looks likes he’s never played football before every time he has to block.

His man literally just runs right past him & he looks like a turnstile & he has no movement in his feet at all, it’s like watching a Sumo wrestler trying to block in quicksand, it’s a complete train-wreck.
