This game is not on the Defense. Although I’m not even a huge fan of Manny, his D did a good job in the second half. We had their passing game on lock. They broke a few big runs. But what killed us the most, was Feagles. Field position killed us. They started from the freaking 50 nearly every possession, our defense played with a half field.
It’s god**** bs, Feagles needs to walk, let baca punt or find someone who can. If not, grow a pair and start going for it, because 22 yd punts aren’t ever gonna cut it at D1 let alone D3 ball. It’s embarrassing.
Play calling on O was horrible. Same vanilla bs. Run run shot down the field. Nothing else. Rosier was inaccurate, made some good throws but too little too late. I say we give Kosi a chance as well as Weldon. These next couple of games are important. We need to figure ourselves out.
That being said, we head into the FSU game on a nice little streak, build up some confidence, beat FSU, then we got an entertaining and competitive season back. We follow that up with a VA Tech win and we are back to where we started.
If not, we need to see big changes. Richt needs to relinquish his OC title, he can’t playcall good games consistently, way too hit or miss.
