This word describes our athletic director and our Board of Trustees as well! AD is just a joke, period. Our BOT actually stepped up and paid someone halfway decent money but they paid it to a complete incompetent so that is great, up until the point that you light the school's money on fire! 4 horrible choices in a row to basically destroy our football program, with talent inside their own city going to the SEC every year and with us still getting some kids to stay home we find yet one more way to fail, by bringing in a coach who runs a high school offense. You pay a guy $4MM a year to completely dismantle your program forcing kids to choose to go elsewhere because they can't play in this joke of an offense!

I will do the job of the AD and the BOT,

1) fire Mark Richt or give him a package to retire and get the **** out of here
2) hire a coach for $2MM base and $200K a win and I would start with Butch Davis since the opinions of the BOT regarding coaches to choose seems to be the opposite of prudent then hiring Butch back would be wise by definition, it is the George Costanza principle, do the opposite of your own inclinations
3) fire Blake James immediately, he is posing as an AD, he is actually a part-time AD in between gigs at kids birthday parties as a clown
4) re-evaluate the BOT and its involvement in football decisions, none of these atrocious hires would have ever occurred without this group of idiots approving these horrible choices. How has Blake James been here this long and collected a paycheck for this performance? Who is Blake James related to on the BOT?

Hey if you want to run a football program like this you can hire a coach for a lot less money for these results. You just paid a guy $4MM for 7 wins, that is $571K per win. Put that in perspective because the highest paid coach in the NFL is Sean Payton at $8MM a year and he is on the verge of 14 wins if they win this week, guess what, that is the same money per win as Mark Richt!!!! The best team in the NFL is going to make the same money per win as Mark Richt, and that is before the post season.

Honestly, what are our BOT even looking at when they watch this team and this coaching staff? Our players have talent and we literally hired a coach to not utilize the talent he has and discourage new talent from ever coming. If you wanted to come in and destroy a team you would be hard pressed to top Mark Richt in that category. First game this season was terrible after 8 months to prepare he shows up with his incompetent choice for QB. Last game of the year Richt goes back to the same well and our performance in the last game of the year was worse than the first game and probably the worst of the year. And our coach decided to only use 8 of the 15 practices to get ready for this last game, with a QB that has not started in 2 months, a center that is new to the position because of injury, just to name a few reasons to practice more.

great post, at this time someone on BOT should reach out to Jimmy Johnson and ask for his input
as a consultant. I am doubtful James/Richt combo can get it done. we need to stop the bleeding
as very school in country in picking off our top HS talent now even Oklahoma and Penn State are picking of playmakers.
first step in improvement is admitting you are wrong....

Evangelical. Richt needs to save Sunday for Jesus and every other day for dancing with the devil. Football is not a preacher's game.

Example one:
Richt said to keep in mind that Malik os a good person no matter how he played in the bowl game.
That sounded an awful lot like an expectation of failure. But Richt played him anyway. In other words.. On PURPOSE.

Example two:
In his postgame presser, Richt admitted that things were his fault & that there needs to be a change. But he has already said the last on field position will not be going to an offensive coach & no one expects any offensive staff changes.
