Which moment took a couple years off of your life. I was at the 2009 game, that felt like an eternal at the end.

So I flat out don't remember the first 2 moments so I gotta say the catch Miami vs FSu last year.

edit - so I went back and watched the UM v NC st highlights and I remember I blocked that game out due to what happened against Notre Dame the next week. So much of Golden's tenure was like that for me LOL.

Gotta go with The Catch.
4 minutes and 40 seconds for the refs to make the call.

All time:
Nebraska's 2 point attempt in '83.
Walter's pick at BC.
Wide Right I

BIG stakes riding on these plays.

Duke return up there.

Huge block party with tons of people in my house and I'm yelling every swear known to man before they picked up the flag.

The drop. It was game 1 against FSU with huge stakes such an intense ending.

The return wasn’t intense for me because I had already thought we lost so that was just sweet relief.

I also voted for the pick because that’s my favorite play in Canes history.

The catch was just pure joy but it didn’t have the same stakes because even without it we had time for a field goal

The pick is #1, because of the stakes.

But the return against Duke is up there simply due to the emotional swings.

I’ll remember it forever. We hadn’t been in our new house for two months. We had just gotten skullf’ed by Clemson and Golden was canned.

It was trick or treat night and the wife and kids were already ****ed at me for prioritizing a game above what we were doing. The wife fell asleep in the third quarter and I had to try to keep quiet so I didn’t wake her up and have to listen to her ****.

It went from disbelief that the refs were f*cking us on the drive where Duke scored, to pure unchecked ecstasy and then nail-biting anxiety as the refs were surely going to ***** us again, to pandemonium realizing that we were free of Golden and had just won on one of those plays that would be written in history.

I woke the wife up. But I wasn’t hearing anything other than “WOOOOOOOOOO” at that point.

LMAO at Duke and NC State. Those games weren't important (other then wanting to get a win for Burn's mom in 2015).

A better butt cheeks tight moment was whether UM was going to to fire Al Golden after 58-0 because for a while it looked like they weren't.

IMO
Ancient times:
Knocking away the 2 point conversion by Nebraska
Medieval times: "The Catch" vs. FSU
Modern times: "The Pick" Walters/ Reed Combo

Those events IMO had the biggest impact on Miami's football program and to me were the most exciting of numerous exciting events in our history.

I was starting to "crown" before each of them occurred

It wasn't so much a "Butt Cheeks" moment....but when you put everything into perspective, Brodsky's 8Oyd TD against #1 Penn St in 81 was certainly the Play that woke up America in regards to UM.....him running past Penn St sidelines was icing on the Cake.....Halloween Day...and rainy...40,000 tops in OB....and we didn't realize we were basically witnessing History.....
