for coming through in our time of need. Tom Herman is your Coach. You Should do everything to Keep him! Raising his salary is an excellent decision! 3 Million is a great starting point. Way to go, U. of Houston.

Sonny we might have needed him. I am on the BBB bandwagon but Herman is a good coach.

Before the BBBA starts sucking each other's ****s, they might want to wait until Herman actually signs the deal.
 
$3mill don't seem much for a coach that could make $4 mill somewhere else. If he takes that deal he must be waiting for a job somewhere else in texas

C'mon man its **** like this that makes people question the BBB crowd. Herman would be an outstanding hire and is one of the only coaches being mentioned that's as good, if not better (especially in the long run, given his potential) then Butch is.

We'd be lucky as fvck to end up with Herman.

I'm not going to disagree.

I'm just looking at Charlie Strong - had a great run for a couple years in the AAC - moved up to the big time - he's been weighed and measured, and he isn't worth a tinker's ****.

Not saying Herman would do the same. But UM better make certain they have a top coach who can play against other top programs and win.

True, but after 10 games is Herman worth $4 million, which is more than some NFL HCs? Really?

I personally don't think he is worth that much but I bet there are some schools out there that will be willing to pay him that much after only one season. However, if they lose to Navy that might change that

Houston have played this pretty smartly - they've made Herman make a decision.

He's been rewarded for a good season with a decent pay rise. If he stalls signing it then you know he's looking elsewhere and you can start your coach search.
