As long as college football exists there will be cheating. Even if they start paying the players, the top programs will still have their "bag men" paying the elite prospects to pick them on signing day.

True. But I think you're still wrong. The ones being cheated are the athletes. You don't think the 200k auburn spent to get Cam was money well spent?

If this were fair there would be no monitoring of payment to athletes. No "enforcement" of amateurism. Just have the players sign something saying they "weren't paid" 😉 to avoid workers comp claims and let them go to the highest bidder. Just like a welder or electrician or anyone else would

It's not a bad thing. It's just a thing. It's totally appropriate for people working hard in any other field to be properly compensated. No one is harmed. No one is robbed. No one is adversely impacted. Exchange of labor for capital. You do it every day.

The biggest problem Miami faces when it comes to bags is the disparity between the boosters. But more than that it’s the schools fear of what can happen given how hard they come after us for ANYTHING!
But the most difficult thing is having a ton of fans from a rival school and an SEC school that test the loyalty of local coaches agents family members etc they not only turn theire backs on the hometown school but also snitch. And that also goes for the local reporters that know that if they have a story on Hurricane football it will go national in .2 seconds and they will get interviewed by everybody and the story will get a ton of retweets etc.
So even if we wanted to we couldn’t do it at that level of $ or that level of exposure. Some kids don’t want to be low key.
They want to be ballin in tuskkkaloosa flossin to the Walmart in the new Yukon. Forget about playing time I wanna post pics of all my cash.
That exposure at UM gets you on the fienbum podcast real quick.
 
Believe it or not most colleges pay players. From scouts flag football coaches cash is being transferred. Always has always will.

You’re a simpleton with a low functioning brain that can’t grasp complex subjects, so I don’t expect you to understand any of this or how Miami fits in.

For example, just for CT players I personally know Boston College, UCLA, and Michigan have dudes offering 5 figures to recruits. If you get a top 300 player he's getting something extra. The SEC has made it a got**** art form however. So props to them for revolutionizing the game.

Botch probably dirty at unc but the NCAA could not prove it. Case dropped but he was penalized by never being able to coach a legit college team again. Fiu is garbage but he was desperate to take the job.
