What is wrong with our fans and alumni? They have accepted mediocrity and low standards. The outrage over underperforming coaches getting canned is apparent of this mentality. We can do better people. Better days are coming.....

I'm not condoning it but the reason may be that we haven't been relevant in 12 years

The last bowl win we had was 21-20 against Nevada!!. Nevada. In 2006.

We haven't won a road game against ranked team since 2009 fsu. That is such a crazy Stat. Also the last time we beat fsu

The fact of matter is we haven't even been a top 25 team consistently In over a decade
The people running this program let it go to complete ****


However, theyshould start raising expectations again
Thank God for Mark richt falling in our laps. He will bring this program back to where it should be. Consistently top 10

The only outrage that is happening right now is the athletes over the firing over Swasey. That outrage is coming from players as far back as the 2001 team all the way up to current NFL Cane rookies.

If we aren't playing for the Championship, at least get to a big time bowl game....I hope that becomes the standard after Richt retires after a successful run

It's strange to me too. It seems there a segment of the posters here that thought all that we needed was to rearrange the deck chairs.
Not fix the giant hole in the haul.
 
im not seeing posters on here wanting to keep much of staff at all. maybe beard, ice harris and larry scott. thats it. most wanted a complete redo which is whats happening.

now the swassey firing we all knew former players wouldn't like but if its true he can't pass certification then he doesn't deserve the job. former players like feliciano are very connected to him.

the other coaches though u don't hear much whining unless its beard with sam bruce or ice harris and his "south florida ties" stuff. the rest people are pretty happy are gone.
