The Athletic ranks College Football's top 100 rivalries

7 is pretty good. Could be better if both teams had their shots together at the same time.

I'd put Bedlam ahead of Minnesota vs Wisconsin.

Also surprised Baylor vs TCU isn't much higher.

I think the Palmetto Bowl is a more storied rivalry than Clemson - FSU.

Is it more storied? It’s more bitter, for sure. Those fanbases ******* despise each other. But USCe hasn’t really won anything, ever. Those games have hatred but they’re rarely meaningful, nationally. Clemson and FSU have had national title implications during the games.

South Carolina has been playing football since the 1800s and has won any conference one time.

It's one of the oldest rivalries in College Football history.

They've been playing that game since the early 1900's.

I'd say a game that's taken place since William Howard Taft was in office holds more historical value than a makeshift ACC rivalry.
