Seeing as everyone seems to agree that it's win the Coastal or bust for Al, the ACC scheduling this year pretty much guaranteed Miami won't win the coastal, not that Golden's sorry *** needed any help in that department. Miami is the only team in the Coastal other than Georgia Tech to play Florida State and Clemson. Pitt doesn't play either one, and Duke, with one of the easiest schedules I've ever seen, doesn't play Florida State, Clemson, or Louisville. They're **** near a lock . Thanks ACC, this Golden nightmare will soon be over.

I have always perceived a Tobacco Road bias in the ACC since we've joined. UNC and Duke always get the calls from the refs. Remember that roughing the passer call Calais Campbell was called for against UNC? Calais was nowhere near the QB and the QB wasn't even hit. ESPN never replayed it either.

With this years scheduling and it becomes even more obvious. On the other hand, they could be trying to line up FSU and Clemson with harder schedules to raise their playoff stock.

I'm not sure if you're being serious here. We play fsu every year and the other game rotates. We haven't played Clemson in a while. The other schools in the coastal have their own cross division rivals and the same rotation.

Still don't understand why he isn't fired by now. If they're going to wait until the end of the season that will really hurt recruiting

I get what your saying, winning the Coastal is an unfair standard this year. We keep him if Miami finishes a close second?

Just the stark reality that they have to fire Golden is already too much for these clowns. The bottom line is they don't care.

Al has lost to plenty of garbage (see Cinn), they could schedule a team of Christopher Reeves (today) and they would look like the 2001 canes.
 
Maybe the ACC sees that it needs Miami back at the top along with what FSU, Clemson, etc are doing to make the ACC look like the competitive conference they thought they were going to have when they brought Miami in. They know we aren't winning or being competitive with Golden.

They need to pack Blake Al D'noimworthless all 3 on a train to Siberia. Blake is a laughing stock as an AD, then it's the trickle down effect.
 
He should be fired even if he wins the coastal. You could go 8-4 and win the coastal so just take that ****** equation out.

If golden is back next year the program would be set back even more years.
