Watching the game again for the 3rd time and can't help but smile when those young kids grabbed the ball and sprinted to the end zone without ever breaking stride.

It's harder than they made it look!

When was the last time our defense scored twice on fumble recoveries? I couldn't be ****d to look it up

Dude was so scared to get hit the second time he just tossed the ball on the ground when he saw all those rabid dogs commin.
 
It's amazing when the right coach (Diaz) matches up with the talent he has available

It's been a long time since it was fun to watch Canes defense!

They may have given up some big runs, but at least they made entertaining plays too. It's fun to watch a defense that doesn't let the offense do every single **** thing they want.
 
People act like those were lucky breaks but both came from hitting the QB and forcing him out of sync. Even if they weren't scoop and scores, we're sitting in the red zone both times.

This is exactly what you'll get from Diaz, IMO. They'll get gashed from time to time but they'll also hurt some people and make some big plays. Much more satisfying to watch than anything we've trotted out in recent memory!

Another good performance by the defense, real big tests coming up. FSU, UNC, VT and ND all have good offenses, we will see what we're made of.
