First of all, I realize that if golden gets fired, this game was a blessing, but I just feel sick to my stomach. I have missed 2 home games in 15 years and today was one of them. I didn't buy season tux this year, but have scalped 5hem every game except for this one BC I'm out of town. With that said, boy do I feel bad for the players. They were so frustrated and dejected. They could have gone elsewhere and played in front of bigger crowds, but they came here and got swayed by the used car salesman act and now they are losers and alienated from the fan base. Its just a sad situation and feels even worse than DVD balling his eyes out face down in the grass after USF 2010. I have no idea if this program will ever be good again. Its going to be hard to recover if golden stays next year...recruiting will tank and the current talent will evaporate. Sad day, I feel for the players who stuck with us like Duke, PD, Clive, DP, etc.
