That' 2016 class ohhhh boy

Geo you are a funny dude.. one minute you crowning next minute you complain... **** man I actually thought you was a decent cat.

Not complaining at all. I'm against this staff on their choices at times of recruiting where they ignore local kids that are a worthy of offering or their scheme and results. I want nothing more than for Miami to succeed, but to hold on to these kids. We must get it done on the field.

This staffs track record has said otherwise though. Hope they close out with the 2016 kids well and they "can" do that and get the help with having our team performing to the actual talent we have.

I love Swag '16 and I pray for us to do well during that season and recruiting just I have learned over time to temper my expectations a bit with recent history.

Do you see the staff taking Ivan smith after getting Amir rasul ? He is a good player as well

Ivan Smith happens to be a long time Miami fan himself. I like Ivan Smith from Columbus and he played a huge part in their success this year. Would have been nice for him and Rasul to have been in the same backfield.

I'm not sure yet if Miami has been on Smith BUT he is very close to the Mullins family and I'm not sure about it but I believe they are family too.

View him as an athlete. Can play RB/WR/DB and special teams. Utility type of player. And we need that at Miami.

It's impossible to get excited about 2016 verbal commits with the current state of the program.

Look at the kids that will be taken in the upcoming draft....Golden went 6-7 with those kids on the roster.

Actually found out. Ivan Smith was at Junior Day. Momma Mullins trying to get him as next on the train to Miami.

I expect Freddie Pinder to pull the trigger and commit to Miami sooner or later

We just went threw this same thing this year. 2015 class was supposed to be fantastic. Then the season happened and kids are decommiting left and right.

Just how good is he and Victor?

I see they're both 6'4-6'5 ish but Victor has a rating that would implicate that is very elite

Pinder might be better tbh

I like Pinder over Victor. More physical, bigger, stronger, blocks, and has learned to use his size to his advantage.

I like Victor yes. But two things.... he is very frail, plays smaller than his size(I don't mean that in a good way)

It is a long way til Feb 2016.....

However, it feels **** good to have a 2016 class that's better than UF-ags 2015 class one week before signing day.

these kids wanna bring the U back. this is building like the type of class the 30 for 30 films are built around. part 3 lets go.

Zzzzzzz. Half these kids will decommit by November. Nobody ever learns.

Same shlt different cycle. Folden grabs Sofla kids before they get to really experience other schools and go through the recruiting process. They commit to the local school they grew up a fan of, then they bail when Folden's team sucks and other programs turn up their efforts.

We'll be lucky to have half these kids committed by the fall.

sad but irrefutable.

Yep. Don't know why anybody gets excited for recruiting. BTW, swag16 is a horrible name and your f.agy if you use it.

thanks but not playing this game again!!! win some **** games coach!

What does winning games have to do with the positive news of the day?

Golden sucking donkey **** and being happy about great recruits aren't mutually exclusive ideologies

Funny thing; If we win, those early commits will stick.

Nobody disputes that...but what does that have to do with today? If they went to FSU, everybody would be up and arms, but they pick us early and it all of a sudden doesn't matter?

Clubhouse leader is better than being in the clubhouse at 6 over

I think everyone is happy these kids picked Miami 1 year early, it's just been proven. Time and time again that rather it be this staff or kids just seeing other schools few stick with us for the whole year, I blame seasons like 6-7, 0-4 vs FSU

Collins, Valentine, Kirkland, Thomas, Powell...the list goes on and on

GOLDEN WILL **** IT UP

Seems so simple. Take the handcuffs off. Put them in an aggressive proper system that fits, we will win some 2015 big games and these boys will sign the LOIs.

A lot of posters are down on chances that Golden can hang on to these kids based on what has happened in the last few years. HORRIBLE examples by the way. If you want to use "apples for apples" you need to go back to that 2008 class and how those local kids all came together and committed to the U and stayed committed because they were all close. They were all local kids and they all formed a bond that was led by Jacory.

Jack Allison can do the same thing here. Local Kid. Great QB. Wants to play with the best players. I heard on here he is already trying to persuade Binji Victor to join the crew.

The core of this years class is the Gulliver kids like the Northwestern guys in 08'.

Mark me down as thinking this class stays together. And that Snelson gets back on board later. And we sign a lot more local studs as well as the year goes on.

Agree with Jassid. They're committing to each other and the program. Golden will either win the ACC Coastal in 2015 or be sent packing. And if Golden does get bought out, anyone who replaces him will almost certainly retain guys like Brown and Beard either way. I'd be shocked if Coley doesn't stick, too. These recruits know all of this.
