I rarely anymore, if ever, start threads and ive been a board member going back to Grassy (different name) but I know this does not need to be said but im doing it anyway;

Just wanted to say thank you all

Its crazy that there is a forum like this one where we all can go, without knowing each other, and talk Canes and vent about frustration and express joy about being a fan of this team.

Its a great place to just get all the feelings out and enjoy it while doing so

And for stupid reasons I really wanted us to win this other than just being a fan

Im in NY and while yes there are alot of Canes fans here NY also has a lot of other teams fans as well; Alot of Big Ten here, Ohio St and Michigan and they are some of the most obnoxious uninformed fans who still view us as thugs and Im sur enow Ill see IU out of the woodwork

I once saw an Ohio St fan and said you guys didnt win in 02, 03' as that wa snot PI> Looked at me like had no idea what I was referring about

Id like nothing more than to wear my Canes gear with a grin knowing we won. I still can but I wanted the quiet FU
