A coach hasn't even been named and you're talking that garbage. The new coach is bringing his own crew and that's the way it should be.

There needs to be a total cleansing of anything that is Folden related.

Coach Scott just accomplished something that Golden NEVER did in his time here: beat Duke, Virginia, Georgia Tech, AND Pitt all in the same season. That alone affirms what I think we've all known all along - that the problem has never been talent. We've got plenty. The problem is coaching. Coach Scott deserves a lot of gratitude for helping send our seniors off with pride and dignity. I hope the next staff finds a spot for him or at worst, that he's able t parlay this into a better opportunity somewhere such as OC or HC at a small school where he can continue to grow. Thanks Coach Scott...
 
He did a nice job in his role as interim head coach. I congratulate him for his achievement and performance.

Now pack his Shlt and get him out of here. I want zero holdovers from the Al Golden Ice Cream Wonderland & Daycare he was running here. I've heard Scott's comments - they have the stench of Al Golden all over them. The Hecht and Schwartz should be doused in gas and burnt to the ground so the new coach can start fresh without any remnants of this 5-year disaster lurking in the halls. It's been half a decade of brainwashing a soft mentality into everyone associated with this program; we need a clean start.

Any Hecht employee, coach, staffer, etc should be marched out onto Greentree in front of a firing squad by the new head man and his staff. Leave not one single cell of the Al Golden virus alive. To move forward you must eradicate all holdovers, practices, and beliefs of this failed regime.

Coach Scott should be considered for any and all HC jobs on any level. Why would a Canes fan care or attempt to minimize his contributions and limit/lessen his future career opportunities to a certain "acceptable" level? If a big school hired Scott as their new HC some dudes on here would lose it lol. Lesser skilled coaches have been taken a chance on because of the "it" factor over the years, including Golden who isn't an X's and O's guy by any stretch of the imagination. He had superior jargon, a great head of hair, UTough, and Core Values and many of you fainted like your daughters at a Beiber concert. Also, how do u know Scott isn't an X's and O's guy? Just wondering how some came to that conclusion.

And finally, if every Goldenized must be purged from this team then why stop at employees?? Shouldn't this also include Goldenized slurper fans as well. U know the ones who gifted him unearned benefit of doubt and allegiance over the programs best interests even though he was making clear moves to express his own self-interest? Dudes attacked other fans for calling him on his ish, but now these dudes are calling for everything Goldenized to be removed except themselves lol. Audacious
 
If Scott witnessed how Golden parlayed jargon, machismo-laced, cliche, core values talk into 5 years of employment and undying allegiance. And job security without results at the University of Miami, then why wouldn't talk the same, but actually have/show results? Shannon couldn't talk it, Golden could talk it, but couldn't walk it, and now Scott can talk it and walk it, but eff him too lol! Cognitive Dissonance lol
