Thank you Coach Scott! I don't know how or what you are doing behind the scenes but I have to thank you for flipping the switch that has turned this team on.

If anybody doesn't see the obvious improvement in this teams level of play they don't know how to watch football. Yes, they make mistakes and get penalized a lot but I'll take that with the new spirited level of play and the joy and commitment for the team that the players have put on display. Somehow Coach Scott has also gotten a sub-standard pair of coordinators to get better results enough of the time to not undermine the talented players on the team (although they still try to fail).

I, and I think most other UM football fans, are able to take some pleasure and joy from watching this team play since Coach Scott has taken over the reins.

I don't know what the future holds but I will be able to watch our team play a bowl game with pride and hope again. So THANK YOU!!!!!

I say this now with renewed commitment.....LETS GO CANES!!!!!

Where was THIS banner? Fly it over the bowl game. Guy deserves one. Thank you, Coach Scott. I hope you're retained by the new HC
 
yes he is an upgrade over Golden and that is about it. Let's not crown him but am thankful for him stepping in and although very ugly finding a way to win to finally finish a season strong. there was a moment when Batten got a dumb personal foul and the camera showed Scott talking with him and pointing at his forehead to be smart. showed me that he has to go as it summed up the soft, politically correct, participation trophy culture this staff operates with. I am sure he is a nice guy and has done a great job with our TE's but he's been Goldenized and that we can't have moving forward. Let's hope he has them ready in bowl game
 
Did what he was asked. Motivated the kids. Thanks. Good luck wherever you land. No need to elevate or retain. Merry Christmas.
 
He doesn't have to be retained but it wouldn't be terrible if he is. Our TE's have played well. He shouldn't be elevated but he did get us 4-1 which is better than the 4-3 we were before. Good job with salvaging a bad season.

That's bs. Just b/c they were employed under golden doesn't mean they can't be or aren't good coaches. Some on this staff should be and probably will be retained

These last 5 weeks proved how bad Frauden was. This team wins 4 games if he was still on the sideline. Worst UM coach in 50 years.
 
He is certainly worthy of being a te coach are you all kidding? Our te 's are balling out and he led us to a 4-1 finish for the first time in forever. Why are people so **** critical

Next guy should keep Scott on the staff. It is easy to see the kids have responded well to him. Also, can develop TE's the position has been a strength since being here.

Absolutely....impossible for him to weed out all the garbage that has been instilled...ie, UNC...but for the most part, kept heads up and competitive.

I hope our next HC (Butch) has enough sense to ignore potato prosters and pick the best available, as per his own judgement.
 
He is a future HC in the making. Did a heck of a job keeping the team together and finishing the season strong.
I would understand if the future HC doesn't retain coach Scott as it could undermine the incoming HC but wish him the best.
If I were him I'd be telling my agent to throw my name for any HC job openings in the MAC, AAC, Sun belt and cut my teeth at a smaller program.

What are the two of you on about? Nobody, OP included, said Scott was amazing or that he should get the HC job. But s**t, give the guy his due. We all know al wasn't going to finish up 4-1, so let's just say "thank you" and stop acting like ****s. As for ONLY being an upgrade over al, what else do we want or need from this guy? He's a caretaker, and he's done a very good job at it.

I did say I was thankful. the argument was about him being retained. While I think he is one of our better position coaches his mentality is what I don't like. Now if he completely bought into to the new guy and toughened up then sure lets keep him. However, this program is infested with Golden so want to remove as much of this era as possible is all I am saying.
 
He's a nice guy, that's about it. We don't need nice guys. We need savage coaches. Don't want any of this staph within 100 miles of our kids after the bowl game.

I guess the majority of you didn't watch the near debacle that happened again today. They all need to go. The sooner, the better.
