Not if the committee actually watched Miami and Notre Dame play, since we were side by side in the previous ranking. The uproar was about Notre Dame getting in over a team that had beaten them.

Yeah whatever. I’m not here to argue Miami/ND. Clearly I’m going Miami. I am just making people aware why some posters think Manny and Duke helped Miami get in. This is the narrative.

I get why people think that, I just don't think it is that big of a deal. It didn't hurt anything, but if Virginia won, there still would have been Miami and Notre Dame, sitting side by side in the rankings, with a head to head in Miami's favor. I just don't think it changed anything.
