Thad Franklin looked good

Guys what’s to take away? Seriously? They play against better competition on the scout team. What we know and have seen all season is Cam falls from the slightest of contact and has no shift in his game. Yes the freshman have “potential” but to take any noticeable observations from this game is laughable. You look fast when you run 4.5’s and the other team from 5 flats.

Brock - you’re right - so what!!

Yes, it's an FCS school, but I think he's ready for carries. You can't go into the ACC play expecting Cam Harris to be your guy. It should be the young guns, with Cam being your 3rd down back, because he actually understands pass pro. Then again, how difficult can understanding pass pro be? Not complicated if you spend the time to teach.

They played against a HS JV team. Nothing to take away from this performance.
Not true at all. There are things that Brown and Franklin showed that would’ve shown up against any type of comp.

Brown showed great patience and vision. He picked out more running lanes this game than Cam has in the past two years. Kid has amazing contact balance as well.

Thad has a great burst through the whole and really surprising feet for his size.

Both are powerful runners that bring the contact to the tackler which is why the are always moving forward.

Cam is what he is. He’s a great pass blocker that has elite speed and exceptional burst. Problem is he has poor vision, feet and balance. There has to be great blocking for him to burst a big one. However, if he has a seam to run through and green grass ahead he hits it hard and isn’t going to be caught.
