The University of Texas at Austin, according to multiple reports, will become the first university in the NCAA to pay it's student-athletes. They will be paid a $10,000 stipend each year. This covers all sports, male and female.

Yea, this isn't happening. Texas doesn't get to decide how much they pay anyone, the NCAA does. If Texas is paying anyone, so are the other schools. Plus this will more than likely be something like a $5,000 trust fund for the student athletes, not just straight cash at signing day.
